Cambridge ESOL CELTA qualified teachers can now be awarded the SVEB (Swiss Federation for Adult Learning) certificate after taking part in the Bridge from CELTA TO SVEB.

SVEB certified teachers are professionals who can:

• Plan lessons for large groups of adult learners;
• Teach groups of adult learners;
• Cater for their different needs and learning styles;
• Assess their competence through effective testing;
• Design tasks which will promote group cohesion.

Two-day training programme (12 hours) on group dynamics, group development, group cohesion, student behaviour and the Swiss Educational System. Ten hours on reading and research. Two written assignments.

This is an essential teaching qualification for CELTA holders who would like to work in schools in Switzerland.
